The Aristopins started on Etsy in 2024, born out of a passion for pin collecting and a frustration with what the hobby had become. As parks filled up with inauthentic, mass-produced pins, founder Megan Furukawa set out to do something different.

Megan had just finished medical school, a journey that took years of dedication and hard work. But when she looked ahead at residency, she realized her true calling was pulling her somewhere else entirely. Pin collecting had become more than a hobby. It had become her passion, her joy, and her purpose. So she made the bold decision to follow her heart and build something of her own.

Along the way, she found endless inspiration at home with her three beloved cats: Boba, Cado, and Miso. Their playful personalities and undeniable charm shaped the whimsical, cozy spirit that runs through everything The Aristopins creates. She loves them more than words can say, and a little piece of them lives in every pack.

The idea behind The Aristopins was simple but meaningful: create a way for pin enthusiasts to get authentic mystery packs of pins, so they could experience the thrill of discovery and carry a little bit of that park magic wherever they go. No fakes. No fillers. Just the real thing, curated with love for collectors, by a collector.

What started as a small Etsy shop has grown into a community of passionate pin lovers who believe that every pin tells a story and that story should be authentic.
